Base Healthcare is committed to protecting personal and health-related information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose data in connection with the RHD-AI screening platform.

Data we collect. Patient screening data is captured by authorized health workers using the RhythmDetect RHD application and includes only the minimum information necessary for clinical triage: patient demographics, recorded heart-sound traces, device identifiers, and AI-derived risk scores. Investor and institutional contact information submitted through the deck request form is collected solely for investor relations follow-up.

Processing and storage. By default, patient health information is processed locally on the screening device in an air-gapped mode. When secure encrypted synchronization is enabled, data is transmitted over TLS to a HIPAA- and GDPR-aligned backend with access controls and audit logging. We do not sell patient data, use it for advertising, or train models on identifiable patient records without appropriate consent and de-identification.

Legal basis. For users in India, we process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. For users in the European Economic Area, we rely on legitimate interest, contract performance, and consent as applicable under GDPR. For covered health information, we apply safeguards comparable to HIPAA Security Rule standards.

Retention and deletion. Screening records are retained only as long as required by local public health guidelines, the referring clinical institution, or the patient’s care pathway. Individuals may request deletion or correction of personal data by contacting our data protection contact.
